The axis is not broken: week 6, a 74-point win, is the largest margin either way in the regular season, and no win came by under five points. Margins run across all 16 weeks, playoffs included. Dave St.'s second title was the year everything worked at once. Washed UP went 12-2, first of ten on points, and did it on the back of Drew Brees, who led the roster in scoring nine separate weeks and put up 202 points across weeks six to twelve, and David Johnson, who was worth 150 above replacement and is the most valuable single season anybody has produced in a final.

Ed M.'s team, then playing under the name gusto's, did not go quietly. Aaron Rodgers went for 41 on Saturday and gusto's led 114 to 95 with the weekend half gone. Then it stopped. Across the four o'clock window, Sunday night and Monday, gusto's scored 2 points in total, from Mike Wallace, while Washed UP got 15 from Justin Tucker, 22 from Travis Kelce and 24 from Dez Bryant. A 19-point deficit turned into a 39-point win without the leader ever really being threatened again. 156 to 116, a second title in four years, and the high-water mark of the franchise: Washed UP reached five finals in their first ten seasons and have not reached one since.
