The path

Level with the opponent
Solid ink is a week won, halftone a week lost, and the gold chip under week sixteen is the championship. The axis is not broken: week 7, a 64-point win, is the largest margin either way in the regular season, and one win came by under five points, +3. Margins run across all 16 weeks, playoffs included. The rail under the week numbers carries the result: filled disc a win, hollow a loss, gold the championship week, and an ink ring the highest score in the league that week. The ring is a regular-season measure, so the playoff weeks carry none. The Aaron it Out! posted the league's highest score three times, and Washed UP no times.

There has never been a season like Aaron Rodgers in 2011 and there probably will not be another. He led Ed M.'s roster in scoring twelve times in sixteen weeks, including a 51 in week four, and closed the year with 235 points across the final eight. The franchise is named after him for a reason and this is the reason. It carried the Gustos, the team that is now Aaron it Out!, to 11-3 but was only second of ten on points, behind, of all people, the team waiting in the final.

Dave St.'s Washed UP had scored 1,510 to the Gustos' 1,503 and had beaten them by 33 in week ten. They led the final by 16 on Thursday and by 37 after Saturday, with Ed M. still holding four men and Washed UP holding four of their own. Rodgers went for 36 on Sunday night, the Green Bay defense added 4, and a 37-point deficit became a 3-point lead in one evening. Monday belonged to Drew Brees, who scored 30 for Washed UP and would have been the story in almost any other year. Marques Colston, Roddy White and Pierre Thomas answered with 39 between them. 100 to 89.

PAR against replacement, ink above the line and halftone below, thickness is raw fantasy points, and a gap is a week he did not start; benched, injured and not-yet-acquired are three stories drawn identically and the footnote says so. The newsprint band is the playoff weeks and the gold dot is the final. Replacement is the mean of every started player at that position, league-wide, that week; in playoff weeks, when only the surviving teams field a lineup, it is carried from that season's regular-season mean instead.
