The franchise

The best record of any franchise that has never won a title. That is the whole tension of this page.

Level with Aaron it Out! at 139-132 and behind them only on points, Reggie's has had genuinely elite players: Derrick Henry for nine seasons and 500.7 points above replacement, second-most in league history, and Josh Allen at 323.8. Neither produced a championship. The franchise also owns the Alligators 21-9, one of the two most lopsided rivalries in the league among pairs who have met thirty or more times, and loses to Aaron it Out! 9-16.

The two best value picks of the modern era are both his, and neither was his slot to use. Derrick Henry at 1.05 in 2016 came from the Caleboys, in the deal that also sent Antonio Brown the other way, and Henry never played a down for anyone else. Josh Allen came in round four of 2020, the year after IronCity drafted him, started him six times for minus twelve, and let him go. Dave Su. loses the ordinary rounds and wins the famous ones: five hits, seven busts, plus 58 in total, which is fifth of ten.

The wire is where it goes wrong. Minus 945 across nineteen seasons of skill-position claims, the worst figure of any franchise in the pilot, against a draft ledger that is comfortably positive. This is a franchise that acquires brilliantly in August and badly in October.

And it has been close. Two finals lost, in 2020 and 2025, and the 2025 team was the best version of it: 12-3, 1,843.8 points, the highest-scoring season the franchise has ever had, with Henry still starting in year nine. Six top-four finishes in nineteen years, and the last one ended one game short.
